Steve Cadigan, Former LinkedIn Executive and Renowned Talent Strategist, Joins TheBoardroom Africa as Non-Executive Director

TheBoardroom Africa is proud to announce the appointment of Steve Cadigan as its new non-executive director. A former LinkedIn executive, renowned talent strategist, and author of the groundbreaking book Workquake, Steve brings a wealth of experience and insight that will be pivotal as TBrA advances its mission to deliver top, diverse leadership talent at scale and provide the tools leaders need to transform their businesses.

As a future of work enthusiast, Steve’s leadership and influence have been recognised globally. Stanford University developed a graduate-level course inspired by his work shaping LinkedIn’s culture. In his book Workquake: Embracing the Aftershocks of COVID-19 to Create a Better Model of Working, published in 2021, Steve examines how the pandemic has disrupted traditional work models. He provides predictions and strategies for navigating the future of work and emphasises the need for agility, continuous learning, and a focus on purpose and meaning in work.

TBrA is increasingly aware of the ever-complex and ever-changing nature of leadership, particularly as it is transformed by technology. We are excited about the role Steve will play on our board to strategically advise TheBoardroom Africa in helping us unlock the intersections between talent, technology and sustainability.

Bola Tinubu, Chair of TheBoardroom Africa, shared her thoughts on the board’s decision:

“Steve Cadigan’s deep expertise and innovative mindset make him an invaluable addition to our board. His contributions will undoubtedly enhance our decision-making and our ability to lead and influence in this ever-evolving leadership landscape.”

“When you find an organisation that has a purpose and mission so closely connected to your own, you immediately seek to forge a deep connection. I am honoured to join TBrA’s board today and will do my best to make this great organisation even greater.”

Marcia Ashong-Sam, CEO of TheBoardroom Africa, added:
